A .The adjustment of the drum speed.

 

The adjustment of the bowl speed is performed in  manual adjustment or decanter centrifuge plate prescribed maximum working speed following the adjustment.

In variable frequency drive decanter centrifuge will paired with control panel that allow increase and decrease the drum speed.

By fine-tuning the speed of the drum, it can perform more precise solids particles separation.  It can also improve the wear of the drum, the vibration and the noise to extend the service life of the decanter centrifuge.

The separation purpose or drilling fluid solids content  is by the choice drum speed. For instance, barite recovery or processing high-density mud, it is suggested that the low spending  speed. For general medium density mud prefer choose medium or high speed.  The low density mud is ideal for using high speed decanting centrifuge.

B. The adjustment of the differential drive

 

Centrifuge differential speed (back drive is also refer by) in its within the prescribed scope of, do not suggest user to adjust and it can only adjust in a small range change the parameters.

Different speed centrifuge adjustment methods are remove the original auxiliary motor pulley, and reloading large diameter or smaller diameter belt wheel  Auxiliary motor pulley  change the differential input shaft speed enhancement in result of differential speed decreased. Vertical type, horizontal type and spherical type structure are available shapes for making liquid gas separator from various manufacturers. Most manufactures are produce vertical type and horizontal type liquid gas separator.  Two more structure type available under the horizontal type, which is single tube and double tube.  Each type of separator has specific advantages and limitations. The factors choosing separator type is based on several factors including characteristics of production system to be treated, floor space availability at the facility site, transportation and cost.

The inlet diverter baffle is a centrifugal inlet device making the incoming stream spin around. This action forces the liquid droplets to stay together and fall to the bottom of the separator along the separator wall due to gravity.

In horizontal separator, gas flows horizontally while liquid droplets fall toward the liquid surface. The moisture gas flows in the baffle surface and forms a liquid film that is drained away to the liquid section of the separator. The baffles need to be longer than the distance of liquid trajectory travel. The liquid-level control placement is more critical in a horizontal separator than in a vertical separator because of limited surge space. Typically, horizontal type liquid gas separator is ideal choice because of the low cost to make and widely used for high gas-oil stream, foaming well streams,  and liquid-from-liquid separation. The GNZCQ270 Vacuum Degasser is a rugged vacuum unit that is designed to safely and effciently remove 98% of entrained air and gases such as H2Sand methane from drilling mud.Unlike the traditional vacuum degasser,GNZCQ vacuum degasser is a self-contained unit.The gas-cut mud is drawn into the degasser by a vacuum created by a regenerative vacuum without needing centrifugal pump.

Working Principle of GNZCQ270 Vacuum Degasser

ZCQ series Degasser belongs to the vacuum degasser, namely use the suction effect of the vacuum pump to create negative pressure region in the vacuum tank, and the mud enter the hollow shaft of the rotor through the suction tube under the action of the atmospheric pressure. And then the mud spray to the tank wall through surrounded windows of the hollow shaft. As collision and the function of separate wheel, the mud separated into thin layers, bubble immersed in the slurry breakup and gas escape. Gas is discharged to safe zone from gas separator through the suction of vacuum pump and separation of gas-water separator. the mud is discharged outside of the tank by impeller. As the main motor start first, the impeller associated with the motor is in a high-speed rotation state, so mud gets into the tank only from the suction pipe not be sucked from the liquid discharge tube.

This degasser belongs to a kind of vacuum .
